2002 Annual Christmas Party a Jolly Success!

About 70 members and family joined in on Sunday, December 15th, to enjoy an afternoon of good food and chat at our annual Christmas party.  This year's fare included Honey Baked ham and roast turkey, as well as various salads, cheeses, breads, dips, munchies and desserts.

Master of Ceremonies Bob Porter presented awards for chapter involvement and Young Eagles Coordinator Phil Cady presented certificates for Young Eagles volunteers.  Paul Gould and Norm Beaudette then showed off their awards for the world's best Aeronca Chief and EAA web site.  Door prizes of randomly selected envelopes containing $10, $20, $30 and $40, as well as 20 poinsettias were raffled off, and new officers for 2003 were introduced and inaugurated.

This year's activities were hosted at the Hawk building, site of the original Sporty's at Clermont County Airport.  Once again, Chapter 174 is indebted to Sporty's owner Hal Shevers for his generous offer of the use of the premises.
