Are you
between the ages of 8 and 17? Would you like a
free introductory flight in a real
airplane? Chapter 174 is an active participant in
EAA's Young Eagles program. Young people participating in the program receive a Young Eagles certificate and have their name entered in the World's Largest Logbook at EAA Headquarters in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. You'll receive a photo of yourself with your pilot and airplane as well.
For 2011, the Chapter plans to focus on monthly Young Eagle flights with Sporty’s. If you are interested in participating in one of these flights, please contact the chapter's Young Eagle coordinator (eric_laing2@yahoo.com) and provide him with the children's names, phone number, and email contact. He will add you to the waiting list and contact you with a specific date when a flight becomes available.
